Grant's Family Reserve Bottling Notation
A composite whisky from William Grant & Sons, this was awarded a Silver medal at the 2007 International Wine and Spirits Contest.

Tasting Notation by The Chaps at Primary of Malt
Nose: A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum vino and spice.
Palate: Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Finish: Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very terminal.

It is a whisky, not a whiskey as and so many people on here go along calling information technology. Great blend for the price. Pretty much standard actually.

still ane of the best with regards to price and palate delivery… over the years, information technology has stated the form… masterfully blended… on sale in Pennsylvania November 2021… there's nothing acrid going on… it's mellow buttery floral fruity toasty in perfect proportions! it's the american Evan Williams of 🏴!

Skillful, honest and enjoyable blended whisky
It's interesting that in some of the worst reviews the word whisky is spelt incorrectly. What surprises me most is that these critics are so sure of themselves. I'd beloved to see their results at a blind tasting. We are not in the Islay wonderland of peaty single malts. This is an honest blended whisky with character, which too happens to be the 3rd. almost popular whisky in the world in 2021!
How practice some critics really know it tastes similar motor oil, watered downwardly olive oil or turpentine? Information technology's and then easy to criticise anonymously. My respects to the Grant family.

Ashtray water
I wasn't expecting much for the cost but my god this is the worst whiskey I've e'er had by far. Tastes burnt, like someone had emptied an ash tray into it 🤮. Doesn't even taste nice when well on the fashion to being drunk 🤷♂️.

Is this whisky?
By far the worst whisky I've e'er tasted out of nearly 100. There's zip to redeem this blend, it'south bland still incredibly harsh and memorable for all the wrong reasons. I wouldn't even use it as a mixer.

An Awful Dram
I'm incredulous that anyone who has drunk whisky before tin can give this more than 1 star. Myself a seasoned whisky drinker and some inexperienced whisky drinkers had this, along with some malts and blends at a tasting dark, unsurprisingly this bottle ranked terminal out of 12, with 3 of us unable to even cease the smallest of drams. There's no real flavour to it, just a very harsh palatableness, you wouldn't even drinkable information technology for the sake of drinking. To telephone call this Whisky is an insult to other blends, let alone malts.

Exactly what it is supposed to exist
This is a low cost low terminate, every day blended whisky. Some of the reviews here seem a bit harsh. What are you comparing information technology to? Information technology's non a single and it's not a speciality whisky. It's a quaffer, a go to blended at 14 quid that yous tin can rely on time and once more. Information technology's not as smooth as silk but it'due south very drinkable.
